Victorinox, has announced that they will be releasing three mechanical chronographs for winter 2010, called - The Infantry Vintage Mechanical Chronos. All versions are going to be powered by a mechanical self-winding Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement, that is housed in a 44 mm stainless 316L stainless steel case. However, the black version will make use of a Black Ice® PVD coated stainless steel 316L case. There will be three striking styles available: the “retro” dial in olive and cream with a rugged-stitched brown leather strap; a black-and-silver dial model with red and black accents and rugged-stitched black leather strap; and the Black Ice PVD coating on the dial, case and deployant clasp bracelet. ~$1695.

These watches were introduced originally 6 years ago and have become an iconic line with the brand. This year, the brand has redesigned the collection for the better. The new Maverick GS “Grand Sport” timepieces are powered by Swiss made quartz movements, and come in three versions: chronograph, dual time (GMT), and three-hand. The three-hand version displays hours, minutes, seconds and the date. The chronograph has a stopwatch function, hour, minutes and small seconds, as well as a date at 6 o’clock. While the dual time features a second time zone sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The brand makes use of a new case, 43 mm wide and is made of stainless steel. Victorinox has unveiled the 500 Chrono and the Dive Master 500 Mecha as part of its Dive Master collection. The chronograph is powered by a swiss quartz movement and the mechanical is powered by a swiss made ETA 2892-A2. Maybe you already know about the Mecha Chrono since it was released a year ago, but they have added this deep blue version with blue dial and strap. Both watches are in black ice PVD finish, though they differ in the cases. Currently the chronograph is only available in orange, but expect more colors to come before the year ends, while the mechanical model is available in orange, red, black. ~$700.
