Tag Heuer updates their Aquaracer wristwatch line with the Tag Heuer Aquaracer Calibre S Regatta.
Tag Heuer developed and patented the Calibre S movement in 2005. The watch movement has over 230 components and 5 high-performance bi-directional engines capable of twice the torque of conventional timepiece engines.
Features of the Tag Heuer Calibre S include:
-water resistance to 300 meters
-1/10th of a second precision
-perpetual calendar
-scratch-resistant sapphire crystal
-fixed aluminum bezel with countdown scale for Regatta races
-luminescent hands and markers
-hand-applied indexes and semi-circular counters
-triple-row steel bracelet with a double safety clasp and bracelet extension
With its bi-directional micro-engines, the Calibre S allows the central hands to move anti-clockwise in the “REGATTA” mode. Once the countdown is over, the chronograph is automatically triggered and the central hands start moving clockwise.
