Cartier’s Rotonde Astro Tourbillon comes in an 18kt rose or white gold case measuring 47mm. It has a sapphire crystal front and back and is water resistant to 30 meters. The Rotonde Astro has a manual-wind Cartier in-house caliber 9451MC movement with 23 jewels, beating at 21,600bph and also a power reserve of 48 hours.
The ESQ by Movado Submersible with a stainless steel case measuring 42mm. It has a Swiss Automatic Selitta SW200 movement with 26 jewels. It is water resistant to 100m. Comes with a leather or stainless steel band. Price ranges from $495 to $595.
MB&F is bringing you the Horological Machine No.2 in a Sapphire Vision version that is limited to 25 pieces. It features an entire casing made of sapphire crystals with a titanium back. It measures 59mm x 38mm x 13mm and is water resistant to 30m. The Sapphire Vision runs off of a Jean-Marc Wiederrecht/Agenhor designed automatic movement. It uses a Girard-Perregaux oscillator and gear train. The watch has 44 jewels, beats at 28,800bph and a total of 349 parts (including a 22kt blued gold winding rotor). The left dial shows the Retrograde date and bi-hemispherical moonphase, while the right dial shows the jump hours and concentric retrograde minutes.
HD3 Complication is out with a new and exclusive timepiece. The Black pearl, by Fabrice Gonet, was inspired by the wonderful era of pirates and buccaneers, to which he added the retro-futuristic steampunk style so uniquely characteristic of Vulcania. The overall design of the Black Pearl spews pirate: from the hatch on the 9 o’clock side, ship’s wheel on the crown, to the skull & compass on the back. There is also a plate on the timepiece on which you can engrave the captain’s name (owner). Overall, very trendy and stylish. Price not yet known.
The Maurice Lacroix Classique Chronograph come in a stainless steel case measuring 41mm. It has double sapphire crystals and is water resistant to 30 meters. It has the automatic ML caliber 112 movement (base ETA Valjoux 7750). The dials are avaible in silver, black or blue.
