If you’re looking for a simple yet a classicc looking watch that’s something you can wear in boardroom meetings or in any occasion, then look no further for Glashutte has something for you, it’s their latest Senator Diary Automatic watch that boasts an innovative alarm clock complication that allows to set an alarm time up to 30 days ahead of time. It’s powered by the Caliber 100-13 based on the Caliber 100-03, with the addition of the alarm clock module, which provides a 55-hour power-reserve. The Glashutte Original Senator Diary watch is also available with a rose gold case and a galvanized silver dial with rose gold hour, minute and sweep seconds hands and applied rose gold hour markers. Both versions of the watch are presented on a black Louisiana alligator leather strap, and both water resistant up to 50 meters.

How to set the alarm:

First, select the date, looking at the diary alarm window at 10 o’clock sub-dial - Press the pusher at 8 o’clock until you see the letter ‘d’ in the window. Turn the 10 o’clock crown until the red hand points to the correct date from 1 to 31.

Next is set the time, by pressing the pusher once again. You will see the letter ‘h’ in the window. Turn the crown to select the time, looking at the 6 o’clock aperture, from quarter-hour intervals from 00.15 to 24.00.

Finally, set the alarm, by pressing the pusher once again and you will see the alarm symbol (a bell) in the window.

At the set date and time, the alarm rings for up to 60 seconds. You just have to press the 8 o’clock pusher until you see the ‘alarm off’ symbol in the window, to stop the alarm or cancel the previously set alarm time.
