TAG Heuer is bringing back the Silverstone Chronogrpah, the first automatic chronograph movement on the market which was unveiled in 1974.
Limited to 3000 watches- 1500 in blue and 1500 in metallic brown- this classic will be re-issued in February 2010 featuring the automatic caliber 11 Chronomatic with micro-rotor by Dubois-Depraz. Asking price will start at $6,500 apiece.
Tag Huer Carrera’s latest version has a refined, sport performance look that still stays true to its racing heritage. Because of that, the watch looks both classy and reasonably casual, which will make it look good in any kind of get up. It has a steel bracelet and case, and an aluminium bezel. The display, which is available in two colors, maintains the sporty look of a racing car dashboard.
The TAG Heuer Monaco LS Chronograph is an audacious new addition to TAG Heuer’s iconic square sports watch collection. The case, in stainless steel, measures 40.5mm. The crystal is sapphire as is the display back. It is water resistant to 100 meters. Movement is the automatic TAG Caliber 12 (base Dubois-Depraz 2008). It is available with a stainless steel bracelet or a leather strap with deployant.
Besides the re-engineered Tag Heuer Monaco Calibre 12 Chronograph, Tag Heuer is also issueing the Monaco 1969 Original Re-Edition to celebrate 40 years of Tag Heuer Monaco. Tag Heuer unveiled the first Monaco 1969 and in 1970 Steve McQueen made the Monaco a classic by wearing it in the movie Le Mans.
