Azimuth releases a “Time Machine” to go Back-In-Time! Since its inception 5 years ago by two Singaporeans; Alvin Lye and Christopher Long, watch collectors have thought of Azimuth Watch as an avant-garde brand. Their newest release is a testament to it.

Take a close look, you will be amused to spot the numbers are inverted and so is the brand name. Azimuth has cleverly modified the mechanism so that both the hour and minute hands move anti-clockwise. The winding crown positioned on the left side of the watch further accentuates the feel of doing everything “opposite”.

This unique Azimuth designed movement is powered by an in-house modified ETA automatic movement that features an additional subsidiary second with special gearing for anticlockwise motion. Power reserve is approximately 40 hours. The case is made of 316L stainless steel and topped with a sapphire crystal. A pothole in the case-back allows the wearer to view the balance wheel in motion.
