To match Pacman’s strength and reliability, ounce-for-ounce, is the latest Victorinox Swiss Army Maverick II Chrono Pacman Limited Edition watch. As with the first release of this watch-which was quickly sold out-the Pacman watch still gives Pacquiao the distinction of being the first and only Filipino boxer with a limited timepiece edition named after him.
The re-designed Maverick II Chrono bears the image of a boxer on its dial. Rendered on the back of the case is Manny Pacquiao in strike pose, with the Philippine flag outlined behind him in stylized black.
The watch is water resistant to 10 ATM. The 42mm steel and aluminum case houses a Swiss-made quartz analog movement. Luminous hands and markers allow use in low-light conditions. The uni-directional rotating bezel features markers instead of numbers on the first fifteen minutes, easily distinguishing the first quarter-hour. The timepiece has a fully functioning chronograph and tachymeter timer.
The Maverick II Chrono “Pacman” Limited Edition retails at Php22,800 ($495USD) and every purchase comes with a glove signed by the legendary boxer. Only 1000 of these timepieces will be released in the Philippines, making the Maverick II Chrono Pacman Limited Edition a true collector’s item and a fitting tribute to the people’s champion.
